Enjoyed the city break, some great architecture, music and the Kelvingrove gallery

Liked: although in a quiet location, it was very close to the city centre, an easy 5/7 minute walk

Disliked: Minor problems: the shower was very hard to adjust to an even temperature, there was a bit of a bubble in the kitchen flooring and though not the flat owner's problem, the waste bins in the basement were overflowing.

Confusing adversiting and poorly located building

Liked: The experience fell far short of expectations, especially considering the price of £150 per night. I paid more than I would have at many hotels and resorts, yet the accommodation offered neither the facilities nor the service to match The adversiting is confusing and, in my experience, misleading: the apartment didn't match the photos, and the address is only revealed after booking, which shows a lack of transparency. Address was at Brown Street Key issues: - No self check-in; I had to arrange a time with the host to pick up the keys - The intercom didn't work—I had to go downstairs to collect deliveries or receive visitors - The bedroom heater didn't work; the portable unit provided was inefficient - The bedroom blinds let in a lot of light - Insufficient hot water—it started turning cold after about 20 minutes, It’s unacceptable to pay such a high price and have a timed shower - No full-sized fridge, only a small minibar-style fridge. - Kitchen taps dispensed only boiling or freezing water, with no warm option. The counter was also very low, making washing dishes difficult

Disliked: - Lots of flies in the apartment, especially in the bathroom - The kitchen backsplash/tiling was out of place. - Hallways were completely dark at night, increasing the sense of insecurity - The alleged cleaner tried to enter the apartment while I was inside, confusing it with the neighboring unit. The host himself confirmed the mistake. If I were not there, she could have entered while my belongings were inside, compromising my privacy and safety - The building is next to a Simon Community shelter, and there were many homeless people in the area. Combined with the dark hallways and access issues, this heightened the feeling of insecurity, especially at night The most disappointing aspect was paying £150 per night for accommodation with no reception, no service, basic maintenance issues, and even a security and privacy incident At that price point, I expected much more in terms of comfort, maintenance, and transparency. The value for money was terrible. I wouldn't stay here again and don't recommend it

    Excellent stay in Glasgow

Liked: Fantastic location in the city, but quiet at night. Plenty of space in the unit and well equipped.

Disliked: The entrance to the door was a little shabby. But once inside all ok, very secure.

Scotland is a dream to visit and this apartment makes you enjoy it even more

Liked: Very clean and spacious apartment, very close to the city centre and to connecting train stations. The added parking spot is a plus for those who, like us, travelled with their car.

Disliked: Nothing to fault. Well perhaps wifi speed/connectivity could be improved.
