  Very welcoming host, excellent location for sight seating

  Liked: Anastasia was a very welcoming host and made me feel very at home in her flat. She has lots of recommendations, including some excellent places to eat. The room was very comfortable and cosy. Her pets were so well behaved and added to the friendly experience.

  Disliked: I am not a smoker, so although the bedroom is very clean, there is a a smoke smell in the property which may bother some people.

  Lovely cosy room, I'll defenetly come and stay again when I am in town next time!

  Liked: Lovely Scottish lady who hosts and who lives in the apartment herself. The room is well-lit by the large window facing south. Sharing the room with a tortoise was surprising at first, but not at all a problem. Scheduling access for the bath and toilet was no problem. I'd describe the large cosy room as: "A very welcoming place to stay in the owner's home, with clear and meaningful house rules. I really felt the cosyness given by the many REAL plants and many other tiny treasures to explore"

  Disliked: When I first arrived, I smelt smoke in the apartment, which worried me a bit. The room itself was clean and smoke-free!

  Off all of the places I have paid to stay this was simply the best. Thank you

  Liked: The hostess was very friendly as were the two house dogs Monty and Lexi. This was far better than any hotel and anyone seeking local culture and a really educational visit to Glasgow staying here is a must. If you are amenable the hostess will spend time talking with you and has many interesting stories to tell. It is very close to Exhibition Centre station and there are lots of places to eat nearby.

  Hospitality, location and good chats!

  Liked: Anastasia is as kind a host as you’ll come across. She was incredibly welcoming from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. She made me feel at home with a traditional home cooked meal of haggis, neeps and tatties and we sat both nights talking over drinks and whiskey. She shows hospitality like you were an old friend. The room is lovely and as described, full of natural light and plants and you get to share it with Pistacchio the tortoise. The house is very comfortable and modern and in an excellent location for sightseeing. Couldn’t be happier with my stay!
