  We were booked stay to visit the Glassgow with parents and kids stay is ok looks in photos but windows weren’t opened co

  Disliked: When we entered the property, there was a strong bleach smell. Only the kitchen and one bedroom windows could be opened; the other windows were stuck and wouldn’t open. The property was very smelly overall, and it hadn’t been cleaned properly. The used towels were still left inside the washing machine.

  SCAM… Completely uninhabitable

  Liked: Nothing… we had to leave as soon as we could find somewhere else to go.

  Disliked: SCAM! Don’t book!! Photos not current. The thick black mould throughout this rotting derelict building that caused a stench making it uninhabitable and a serious risk to health. The grime on furnishings that prove you do not get what is promised in photos. Twenty calls to owner and manager Heather of “Caledonia Luxe Stays” (who admitted hadn’t been to the property for over 5 months) ignored or dismissed by ‘I’m investigating’ for over a week. This property is managed by an extremely unprofessional and unethical company. Nothing ‘luxe’ about this property. Front door wouldn’t lock. Surrounded by abandoned properties, filthy buildings and an unkempt street. Remediation by cleaners was minimal. It continues to be a property that would be detrimental to anyone’s health. No support or compensation provided by owner/ manager. I will be continuing to pursue this scam with legal support.
