Enjoyed our stay. Not sure about pricing

    Liked: Good breakfast. Location.

Disliked: Separate bathroom. Realised what I had booked, but not sure I would get the same room again.

Liked: Receptionist was very helpful, patient and informative

Disliked: Room was below street level, which I didn't realize when booking. Window was large enough, though street noise would filter in if the windows are open. And it always has that basement feeling on below grade floors unfortunately. But the room was clean and comfortable.

Liked: Maria the young girl who checked us in was professional The young waitress at breakfast was pleasant The location is good and the hotel was quiet

Disliked: Carpets down to the Islay 'suite' were dirty and torn The room was shabby and desperately in need of decorating. The door was ill fitting and let light in all night. The bathroom was practically unusable and tatty. I've been in better portaloos Breakfast was meagre and items did not come out in order eg fruit salad after the cooked breakfast. There was a 20 minute wait for an indifferent croissant. A young male server was wearing the same scuffy clothes that we saw him wearing when he was cleaning the rooms Generally a disappointment

Liked: We were surprised and disappointed that the rooms were in a subfloor, it had a basement feeling. The room was very small, we had to get out to our bathroom.
