Exceptional
Liked: Very clear and everything you need at home you will have quite location great
Disliked: Nothing was everything great
Liked: Excellent location.
Disliked: The morning of departure there was no hot shower. The hot water was working in the property but not in the shower. Given it was an hour before checkout it left me with no option to contact the host. Had webeen able to use the shower, all the dispensers in the bathroom were empty, including the handwash. The sofa bed looked tired with part of the mechanism exposed and not particularly comfortable. There is a great deal of noise from the upstairs property - this can't be helped due to the nature of the conversion but I do not feel this property represented good value for money.
Terrible service from booking.com and accommodation
Liked: Comfortable little apartment, central location
Disliked: I booked and paid £101 for the apartment for a night and received an email from Booking.com saying that the £101 was all I shoild pay and if I received any messages from the accommodation asking for extra money it would be a scam and not to click any payment links. I then received an email from the accommodation asking for a deposit of a further £75 and pay it using a link. I contacted booking.com and explained the above. Booking.com told me to pay the deposit or cancel the stay. Cancellation had an £101 fee, so I went ahead and paid the deposit. I stayed at the apartment. I did not automatically receive the deposit back and contacted the accommodation, they just said "contact your bank, its nothing to do with us". Really put off by the whole experience in using booking.com again and stating at the apartment. Shame as its a nice little, central apartment
Great except for the very uncomfortable bed in a cramped bedroom
Liked: Fully equipped kitchen with full size fridge/freezer. Quiet location. Off street car park (this was also a negative). Comfortable seating.
Disliked: When we arrived, an email sent later after the booking confirmation said "Unfortunately, we have been unable to secure the required advanced payments, so we were unable to send your final check-in and access information." As we were driving, we did not receive this until we arrived. We then paid the additional fee and contacted the property manager who then sent the access info. This was poor communication that should have been provided at the time of booking. The car space was good, but it only suited very small cars. We had a medium SUV so it had to be parked with the rear hanging out into the laneway. The bed was awful. Well past its useby date. I think I felt every spring in the mattress. No room to get to the other side of the bed. Needed to climb over the other person. See photo.
Disappointing
Liked: Parking was difficult. Not easy to find property. Property smaller than appeared online. Had to move furniture to get sofa bed out.
Disliked: Clearer directions to get there. Area was run down. No information about Leeds. Very hot. Not really suitable for families. Felt you were expected to do a lot of things. Would not go back.
PERFECT LOCATION
