Shocking!
Liked: Nothing!
Disliked: AVOID at all costs! I paid £225 for 2 nights. And £25 for early check in. Upon arrival I was met by the whole block covered in scaffolding which took me 30mins to get in to the building. I was given instructions prior that the key would be under the mat. Which it wasn’t, it is in a lock box. I emailed the host who replied giving me the code. Upon entering I was met with the toilet blocked with feces and would not flush, the toilet was broken. The bed was unmade and had previously been slept in. The bins were not emptied and dirty towels in the bathroom. It was clear the apartment had not been cleaned after the previous guests. Also they were workmen right outside the window and extremely noisy. (This was not mentioned before hand.) I contacted the host ASAP via email, phone and through booking.com. All were unanswered. I also took pictures of the property and submitted them to him. I waited at the property for 30 mins in hope that I would hear back and hopefully be moved to an other apartment. But I heard nothing back. Which was suspicious as I only emailed him 10 mins before about the key and got a reply. I had to leave the apartment as I could not stay there. I have since tried to contact the host and again I have had no response. I also lost out on £50 with Ubers to and from the property. I have since raised it with booking.com and they have tried to contact him and again no response from him. I have lost out on a total of £300 and I had to cancel all my plans. I will be seeking legal advice as I have been scammed. I didn’t even stay at the property. Avoid if you can and save yourself loads of hassle and regret!
