Fabulous
Comfortable and functional
Liked: Beautiful building and grounds. It is clearly a working Catholic centre with functional clean rooms for residential meetings etc and at other times for paying guests. Breakfast was in a lovely spacious refectory hall. All the basics for a good English breakfast buffet with cereal fruit and yoghurt and as much as you can eat.. Goid value especially you are there for cricket or university visits. On bus route to city centre. Plentiful free parking.
Disliked: Rooms functional and not used to sleeping in a single bed - we could only book a twin room at last minute so not sure if they doubles.
A lovely and comfortable stay
Liked: Beautiful location, friendly staff, clearly laid out, complimentary teas and coffees on offer at all times, tasty breakfast (veggie options) and great value for money. Would absolutely stay again!
Disliked: Small rooms but still absolutely fine, considering the price.
Fantastic stay 1½ miles from the city centre
Liked: Virtually everything was great! The initial reception, the room we were offered, it was very warm and cosy and the room heating was very good. All the rads had thermostats... Cleanliness was impeccable! Location is very secluded and quiet. Beautiful surroundings... Staff were very helpful and would go out of their way. Breakfast offerings were great. Quite a bit to choose from and a 'buffet style' English breakfast; just help yourself... Really good stay!
Disliked: I can't really fault it, so 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Well located hotel which has simple charm
Liked: A good location and well connected with the city centre.
Disliked: Relatively simple accommodation but that is part of Hinsley Hall’s charm.
Excellent location and facilities without breaking the bank
Liked: Very quiet location near to the main road into Leeds. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent to have 24 hour tea and coffee facilities.
A peaceful spot a short bus ride from the city
Liked: The staff are so friendly and welcoming. It’s a great alternative to staying in the busy centre. Quiet and peaceful grounds but only a short bus ride from the centre of town. Excellent and generous breakfast.
