Good
Perfect, a real gem in Leeds
Liked: Check in was welcoming & easy and we were offered a complimentary drink. Very nice 👍 All the staff we came across were professional, polite and efficient. The property has been totally renovated and has a modern and welcoming vibe while retaining its original beauty. We were even asked if we’d like to leave our luggage after check out so we could go and explore Leeds.
An eventful stay which could have been better, with improved staff training and a warmer room
Liked: The staff were very pleasant and helpful when I checked in and apologised for the difficulties I faced getting into the building mid-afternoon on a Saturday. Breakfast was nice, but it was busy and a lot of time was spent queuing and waiting for additional items to be brought from the kitchens.
Disliked: The room was far too cold. I tried turning the heating up, but it didn't work. This meant it took a long time to fall asleep. There were two fire alarms - one when we were all asleep, the other when I was in the bathroom. They were both false alarms - one caused by the wind and one but the new toaster - but no one came to tell us not to panic and there was no mention of them when checking out. I have problems going down steps and stairs, so it caused real problems when I couldn't get into the hotel the first time I tried and the fire alarm would have caused more had I not met the person in the next room who said it was a false alarm because it had stopped ringing.

poor as was to be a romantic night

Disliked: was given a disabled room without in forming, I email to say I was proposing that night so should of thought of that. the fire alarm went off early morning, die to steam from someones shower. no notice in room saying keep door shit for this reason. lift not working on arrival so had use stairs. only good thing was Luke in the bar was very helpful to sort a place to eat and a place that would help with my proposal
