    Comfortable but slightly underwhelming

Liked: Convenient location for city center Cosy lounge with fire

Disliked: Very cold bathroom with no heating. Clinical corridors and lack of signposting on 2nd floor when leaving the lift. Some artwork and carpet would be a massive improvement to the corridor leading to the lift. On arrival, the receptionist who checked me in directed me to the public car park but didn’t advise that I could purchase a 24 hour voucher from reception. He told me it was free from 7pm and it was only after I’d started walking back to my car that I thought yo check what time charges start from. So I went back to reception to ask and the same guy told me 7am. I was clearly deliberating what to do when his colleague advised me about the voucher. So a bit of customer service training needed there I think.

Quirky fun and a good experience

Liked: Breakfast was good, room and hotel are quirky but in a good way.

Disliked: Parking was somewhat difficult, you had to find somewhere to park to go into the hotel to find out where their parking is. Their parking was tight and not easy to get in to.

    Still a nice experience

Liked: The room was adequate but a little chilly.found the steps up to the bathroom a bit tricky. Breakfast was going well until I found a hair on my bacon and that put me off. Staff useing the toaster for room service orderes so unavailable to us in the dining room. Location was excellent. £15 to park on site seemed a little excessive. A lovely building but a little tired.

    Disliked: Just the tiredness
