  Unpleasant but passable

Liked: Cheap and functional - I was left alone, which I preferred. Everything I needed was there (washing machine, fridge) but it just wasn't very nice... the washing machine was very noisy (broken/bent drum), the fridge wasn't actually cold, the bed was very uncomfortable, the bedding was so cheap it felt like you were sleeping in carrier bags. The broadband is over 4G, so it's slow... the TV is cheap, so it's unpleasant to use... the sofa is broken so you sag in the middle of it...

Disliked: The overwhelming smell of dirty wet dog as you opened the front door each day. Some very small things could be done to make this place a much more pleasant stay; like proper washing up liquid, not cheap watered-down stuff from Aldi. And maybe some artwork on the walls that wasn't picked out of a discount bin at Home Bargains.

Liked: The advantage of this apt is its location In a quiet side street. Natural light at either end of apt Was able to get extra blankets Very walkable to the centre & all attractions & supermarket

Disliked: The whole apt could do with a total make over. Carpets very dirty & covered up by rugs I need to cook but oven making a dangerous noise! Chopping board needs to be thrown out Not able to open windows. Bathroom door needs fixing.

Liked: Kitchen facilities, space in the apartment and cleanliness were all excellent. Communication with the hosts was also first class.

Disliked: Parking is available at no cost and was organised quickly and easily by the hosts but, due to factors outside the control of the hosts, it is not always available close to the property. It is shared on street with other residents and space is tight.

Liked: Good location, all the kitchen facilities, comfortable rooms. Owners responded quickly to any queries/problems that we had. Provided a parking permit.

Disliked: Steep stairs. Didn't understand how to get the TV working properly, although Adam came in and sorted. Congested road to find parking and had to be partly on the pavement if you didn't want any damage.
