  Enjoyed the stay, good convenient location

  Liked: Excellent location, convenient bus access to city centre. Good breakfast.

  Disliked: Staff behaviour at the reception could have been better whilst restaurant staff we’re outstandingly good.

  A very comfortable one night stay in the centre of Salisbury

  Liked: The hotel is in a lovely setting overlooking the river and just a short walk from the Cathedral. Our room was a very generous size with views over the river, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The lady at reception was very welcoming and friendly.

  Disliked: Bathroom was a bit dated but adequate. Otherwise everything was fine.

  Did not meet our expectations for a 4-star hotel and popular wedding venue

  Liked: Location was perfect. Lunches and dinners were enjoyed. Food was excellent and well-presented.

  Disliked: Lacked normal 4-star comfort, e.g. safe, fridge, slippers. Dour and unprofessional staff.

  Peaceful and picturesque riverside stay

  Liked: Location was great. Beside river, very picturesque with lovely outdoor space. Only 10 min walk into Salisbury through cathedral grounds. Very spacious rooms. Amazing sharing platter in restaurant for dinner and very tasty breakfast. Reception staff were very friendly

  Disliked: Bed was a bit soft for my preference.Restaurant manager was a bit gloomy. Seemed annoyed we wanted to eat there without a reservation despite restaurant appearing less than third full
