  A few positives but would not stay again

  Liked: The room was clean and well equipped. Staff very friendly and helpful - blonde lady who checked me in very nice and efficient

  Disliked: The main issue with this place is the ridiculous amount of information they harvest for no apparent reason. After reserving a rooom using booking.com, I then had to fill in numerous details and upload ID to their system. The information requested was similar to filling in an esta for US travel authorisation. It was way over the top considering this accommodation is student halls of residence! I travel for work every week and on no occasion have I had to disclose as much information as this - it made me uneasy. The room I had was clean and was an en-suite, which was good. The kitchen which I had to venture into because there was no bin in my room was filthy, smelly and full of loads of stuff. Perhaps I was unlucky but my mattress was very uncomfortable. Everystudent also lets student accommodation over the summer and although a bit rough round the edges I preferred that.

  Disliked: Took a long time to get into the property to collect key as it had a security lock and no door bell. Toilet was filthy Empty shower bottles left over by previous occupant in shower Bed was uncomfortable along with bedding

  Good value for family visiting their child who is studying in Southampton

  Liked: It is where my child stay during her study

  Disliked: I stayed during the summer, unfortunately there is no air conditioning in the room, so it’s very hot in the afternoon.
