  Don't use

  Liked: There was no stay. 2 days before our stay we got offer to check in in email, we did so and even replied with the time of arrival. The day of arrival, when we were on the road with no access to email we got email from the owner telling us that property is under renovation and thus inaccessible. When we walked for about 15 minutes to the property in drenching rain, we found the property in state of reconstruction and abandoned, phone number provided was of no use, no one answered (tried about 10 times). Very poor time management. We found alternate accommodation ourselves and request a refund of the price paid for nonexistent stay.

  Liked: No idea what the property is like as they cancelled the day before we arrived, due to renovation work. Terrible communication. Despite knowing they were closed they sent two automated messages requesting we check in online, including passport details, and provide special requirements. Their phone didn't work & they didn't reply to several emails. There was no apology when we found out that we had been moved to a hotel across town. One automated text arrived after we had checked in there!

  Communication not a strength

  Liked: As the property was closing for either renovations or being sold we weren’t told prior to arrival. There was a major lack of communication that the staff had to deal with. Completely unfair. They did then accommodate us at The Star Hotel which was an upgrade but our concerns were reimbursement being made if in fact we choose that. Turns out the location of The Star Hotel was a huge benefit.

  Liked: Breakfast very good Room cold. Area had a police car on stand by at the top. Chef very helpful carried cases down stairs booked taxi to. Bathroom sink was 8 inches wide couldn’t wash your hands in it without chucking water every where

  Liked: Property was run down, mattresses and pillows were worn out. Holes in the curtains, stains on the carpet. One room was so hot like a sauna, you couldn't sleep. Looks nothing like the advertised pictures. Do yourself a favor and book some place else.
