Spacious house for a family stay

Liked: Beautifully decorated and spacious house. The hosts were super-responsive and helpful.

Disliked: The driveway is steep and awkward to get into if there are cars parked close on the road - but there are permits available for on-road parking instead

Very disappointing stay with poor heating and cleanliness

Disliked: We paid £175 per night for this accommodation but experienced multiple issues that made the stay unacceptable. On the first night, the main bedroom heating was not functioning, resulting in an uncomfortably cold room. The host was informed immediately but refused to address the issue or arrange a repair for the following day. I subsequently reported the problem to Booking.com. The bedroom window was thin and provided poor insulation, and the main bedroom door could not close properly, which further worsened the cold conditions. The property’s cleanliness was below standard. A full basket of empty glass bottles was left at the entrance, the sofa was stained, and the kitchenware was old and worn. Only one garbage bag was provided for a three-night booking, with no dishwashing liquid and only low quality Costco branded cleaning products. In addition, the location was noisy, ventilation was inadequate, and the host was uncooperative throughout the stay. Given these conditions, the accommodation was not suitable for continued occupancy. I informed the host that I would be checking out early.
