  A well located pub with a good vibe. Stairs to accommodation are an issue if carrying luggage

  Liked: The location of the pub was good and it was well placed to be easily reached from the station. The pub itself was lively with a good vibe and served some good real ales. The stairs to the room were an issue, as we had heavy cases to carry up and down, but we were assisted on arrival by one of the young bar staff which was a great help. The room was comfortable and we had a good nights' sleep, but the shower was very temperamental, running from scalding hot to freezing cold without being touched.

  Disliked: As above, the shower needs to be looked at, as it failed to maintain a comfortable temperature once turned on, ranging from freezing cold to scalding hot.

  Room was clean and comfortable, everything we needed was there

  Liked: It’s a good old fashioned pub, close to the cruise terminal. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Big shout out to the staff members (sorry we didn’t get their names), who helped us get our cases to our room.

  Disliked: The downside was the stairs, but we knew when we booked there was no lift, due to the age of the building.
