  Liked: It was clean

Disliked: There was a bad leak with water running down the walls and dripping from the ceiling to girmm a puddle that was a skid hazard and also posed a hazard for electrics

Liked: it's good to have a driveway to the house

Disliked: Overall, the house is in need of renovation; the bathroom is neglected, the floor is neglected and creaky, and there is no soundproofing—you can hear the neighbors through the wall. The bed creaks, and the mattress is old and uncomfortable.

Liked: Quiet location (unlike others in our group who stayed in the town centre and had problems with noise). Didn't use the open-plan kitchen/communal area other than to refill my water bottle, but it looked much better (and bigger) than I expected given the price.

  Great for an overnight stay

Liked: The room was small but clean with a comfy bed. 2 shower rooms available, also clean. The best thing was use of a very well equipped and welcoming kitchen with plenty of space to cook and eat. There wss a TV there. Some nearby shops too. Great for an overnight stay. Parking available on the drive at the front.

Disliked: The only negative was getting in. Message sent after we were on the road, so some issues picking up details about access, and the front door was difficult to open initially. A phone call to the host sorted that though - he was very helpful.
