Good
Liked: Very cheap but perfectly nice
Disliked: Couldn't get into room and staff ignored calls until I got booking.com involved- they then fixed quickly
Liked: Location
Disliked: Room small
Modern and spacious, great for exploring St Ives by foot
Liked: Nicely decorated airbnb-style hotel. So next to your own room with bathroom, you have access to a communal area with large table, fully equipped kitchen and patio. It was walking-distance to centre of St Ives, just bear in mind that the hotel is up a hill - as are many parts of St Ives. They were flexible with firstly adding dates to the reservation and then finally reducing one day at the last moment, without any extra cost. The refund came through within a few days, so that was very much appreciated.
Disliked: Eventhough it was nice that the communcal areas were being kept clean on a daily basis, it was a bit of nuance. I specifically booked this place with the kitchen area to do some work. However the lady doing the rooms and the cleaning the communcal area was in and out and talking on the phone loudly a lot. So I didn't get a lot of peace.
Liked: Convenient, very clean, inexpensive, has a shared kitchen. My room was very basic but okay for an overnight stay.
Disliked: Not as in the photos (some furniture has been removed).
Liked: Location and bathroom. The cleanliness was five star but just needs a few touch ups on the wall.
Disliked: The bed needs replacing. The bed springs are making a noise and it was very very uncomfortable.
Liked: The garden
Disliked: Soap and shampoo dispensers are outside the shower
