Exceptional
Perfect stay
Liked: What an absolute gem of a place! Perfect location within 5 mins of the town. Spotlessly clean with everything you need for a fabulous stay, we will definitely come back-thank you
Disliked: Only 1 thing, the outside area could do with a little TLC, could be a beautiful patio area, just needs weeding and tidying up a little.
Relaxing and fun
Liked: Beautiful home, tastefully decorated and in an excellent location. Comfortable beds, spacious and everything clean and serviced. We parked the car and were able to walk everywhere as the town was 3’ walk away. That was perfect.
Disliked: 1 toilet roll for 5 people for two days wasn’t enough so we had to buy some more. There was no kitchen roll in the kitchen. I had also forgotten that towels were not provided so we used our swimming towels instead. Providing towels would have been helpful.
Perfect, yet again
Liked: Great communication, great location. It feels like a home away from home. Stayed here multiple times and will continue to do so
Disliked: Nothing
Liked: Lovely cottage very close to the town centre and the local coop. Ideal having the car parking spaces. Beautifully decorated and well equipped kitchen, although it could do with a few more wine glasses! Would definitely recommend.
Disliked: An extra chair would have been needed if we were a party of 6.
Great for a family or small group visiting St Ives
Liked: All clean and tidy, with modern fittings and furniture. In an excellent location with parking for 2 cars just outside. Comfortable beds.
Disliked: It was fine for us but beware that one of the bedrooms is in the loft, accessed by a very steep and narrow staircase.
Great house near the center of St Ives
Liked: The house is in a great location, walking distance to the harbour, shops and beach. The property was tidy, clean and nicely decorated which gives a great holiday vibes. It's fully kitted, so no hassle to take anything especially kitchenware, beds were comfy and bedding was clean & fresh. There is parking space for 2 vehicles right outside the front door. If you have an EV, there are AC & DC chargers in the Trenwith Car Park at a decent price per kW. Download the Evolt network app! Lisa, the host, messaged me throughout the stay and responded very quickly to my queries. Definitely recommend, you won't regret it.
Disliked: Not a show stopper, but the outside area could be improved especially for use during the summer months and some guide notes about the area for those who never visited St Ives and surrounding and user manual about things in the property like how to use the heating, connect to wifi, tv, what to do with the rubbish, etc.
