Exceptional
Excellent, would start again?
Liked: Great location, lovely comfy room and great hosts!
Disliked: Nothing, all great
Only there for one night to revisit St Ives, but good
Liked: The decor was lovely, and the owners were very helpful with storing my luggage and taking it upstairs. Nice sea view with chairs by the window. Good bed, kettle and tea and coffee provided with a flask of water in a full size fridge, useful if you’re bringing food in. Nice touch with mini quality street in dishes. WiFi instructions clear, and WiFi good.
Disliked: They don’t do breakfast, which I expected for the price. I didn’t realise it was halfway up a very steep hill, I probably should have checked, but it was difficult for me to walk down the hill as I have knee problems. I’m quite short and couldn’t reach the blind wand in the bathroom to open the blinds in the morning, even though I had managed to close them, not sure why. Separate bathroom, so you have to make sure your bedroom door is on the latch or take your key with you to the bathroom. A small luggage stand would be useful.
Liked: We loved the proximity to the main city centre of St Ives. Debbie and Carl were amazing hosts, going out of their way to make us feel at home. Our room had an amazing view of the ocean. You could never get sick of it. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
