Fabulous
Liked: We have stayed here several times before when visiting Windsor. The hotel staff and accommodation is excellent. The breakfast offerings are fresh and varied.
Great would stay again
Liked: Freindly staff, clean and great breakfast - great location near the park and town
Disliked: We were in room 8 and there was some noise from the big air conditioning units or ventilation units just outside our room but not bad enough to stop us sleeping
Excellent little hotel- would definitely recommend and will use again if visiting Windsor
Liked: All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Location is excellent- right by the Long Walk and only 10 mins from the town centre and Windsor Castle. Breakfast was excellent. Room was nice but a bit small.
Disliked: Room was a bit small. Could have done with a chair as well.
Great staff, very clean, comfortable and quiet, lovely breakfast and handy parking
Liked: Very helpful and friendly staff, very clean, great breakfast
Disliked: Nothing
Liked: The only truly nice thing about our stay was the excellent location right next to the Long Walk to Windsor Castle.
Disliked: Unfortunately, we can only recommend this hotel with major reservations. The lady at the reception upon our arrival was friendly, and at first glance, the room looked good. However, right from the start, we noticed that a trash bag had been left blocking our room door. Upon closer inspection inside the room, our poor impression was confirmed: it was dirty, the spoons at the coffee station had already been used, and the shower was definitely not pleasant to look at. We had pre-booked a parking space for £20. The parking slots are extremely narrow. Due to the size of our car, we had to take up part of the adjacent space. This neighboring spot was so small that we couldn't possibly imagine how another car was supposed to fit there. When we returned in the evening, we suddenly couldn't get into our room. We contacted the reception. First, we were issued a new key card, which also didn’t work. Eventually, a staff member came up and found that the battery of the door lock was dead. While replacing the battery, he casually demanded that we move our car immediately because the neighboring space would be occupied early in the morning. This escalated into a very unfriendly argument involving several staff members. To top it all off: the next morning, the space in question was completely empty, of course. Considering the price and the hotel's claims, we experienced a very unprofessional way of dealing with guests here.
Liked: Very friendly staff.
Disliked: Bit old and tired in parts.
