Liked: As very experienced travellers, we can genuinely say that this was the best B&B we have ever stayed at. We have rarely, if ever, felt so warmly welcomed and so exceptionally well looked after. If you appreciate understated elegance, retro style, quality and impeccable taste, you will absolutely love this place. Both the exterior and interior of the villa are stunning, with incredible attention to detail throughout. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need, from a hairdryer to beautiful, high-quality linen and stylish bedding. Even small design details, such as the wooden flooring in the shower, caught our attention. Breakfast was a highlight in itself — creative, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. It was personally served by the owners, who shared the stories behind the carefully selected local products, making the whole experience feel even more special. The rooms were serviced daily and the cleanliness was absolutely spotless. But what really sets this B&B apart is the level of hospitality and personal attention. From beginning to end, we felt less like ordinary guests and more like VIPs. An exceptional stay that sets a very high standard for every B&B we visit in the future.

Overall, a very serene base to explore the surrounding region

Liked: Villa Emma was a unique property and was a very enjoyable stay. The owners of the property lives with in the house, and were very attentive. The breakfasts were excellent and were served in their beautiful yard. The landscaping was wonderful informative. The things we liked The character of the inn The outdoor space The quality of the breakfast The comfort of the beds

Disliked: Things to be aware The stairways in the Acacia suite are very steep and may not be suitable for everyone. While there are bicycles available, there is a small charge associated with them. The B&B has a green certification. As part of that certification, the owner will discuss the carbon dioxide footprint that your stay created. They will explain that they have purchased carbon offsets for that purpose. They will also explain that a small voluntary contribution could be given to help offset that costs. A discussion at the beginning of our stay may have made us more aware of the issues related to our carbon footprint.
