  Liked: If you want to experience staying in an old house in Ghent, this is the place! It’s a simple, authentic home with a lot of character. The location is very convenient, with easy access to all the main attractions on foot or by public transport. The towels could perhaps be a little fresher, but overall, it was a lovely stay.

  Good location, kind staff

  Liked: The room is above a wine bar, but the sound was not intrusive. The staff were friendly and helpful. The main part of the room was well set up for storage and there was a small terrace attached. The bathroom was quite small, but comfortable for this solo traveler.

  Disliked: The staircase was poorly lit; I slipped on my way down and hurt my foot. Nevertheless, the staff went out of their way to check on me, bring me food so I wouldn't have to walk, and carry my backpack downstairs when I checked out.

  Great location and comfortable stays

  Liked: Friendly staff, spacious room, nice bathroom facilities, comfortable beds, coffee machine, it’s generally clean. No AC but fans provided for both rooms.

  Super cute hotel

  Liked: Great location, super cute and comfortable. We loved it! Looking forward to staying here again.

  Disliked: We were there during the heat wave, not having air conditioning was a struggle but I understand that it’s not common for it to be in the high 90’s.
