  Okay stay for little money, but not very clean

  Liked: The staff was very friendly, simple breakfast included made it almost worth the value. The location is great!

  Disliked: The room wasn't clean. There was dust on the bedside lampstands and the bathroom ventilation was so clogged with dust 3 out of 4 people were feeling short of breath and coughing. I mentioned this and we were given a key to open the window for air. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

  The hostel is in such a great location. I was even able to get to the Vrijdagmarkt briefly in the mo

  Liked: I'm amazed that I had a room to myself. The hostel was really quiet. I did not have my phone charger with me (I was not expecting to be overnight in Ghent), and the desk clerk was able to locate one for me. I liked how each bed had its own little reading light.

  Disliked: I wish I could have opened the window more. I wish there were instructions about using the key in the power slot to turn on the lights in the bathroom.

  I would use this hostel again

  Liked: Lovely hostel. I was in a room with 4 beds, but got lucky and the bed above me was not taken. They were a good solid wooden frame so I don't think it would have been an issue. Everything felt clean. The en-suit shower room was good. The location is very convenient. Basic breakfast as expected.

  Disliked: I don't have other hostels to compare it to. it was as expected.

  Great location and staff, mediocre breakfast at best

  Liked: Very centrally located, staff was really friendly.

  Disliked: Breakfast was mediocre at best, it was advertised as "very good breakfast included", but there were only slices of bread, no rolls or croissants and to top it off we were there on 'veggie thursday' so no meat or fish options available and the one brie that was available was gone in 15 minutes. Room was quite noisy.

  Amazing

  Liked: Many famous tourist attractions are within easy walking distance. Staffs at reception were nice and responsive. Lot of options were available for the breakfast. Rooms were clean.

  Hostel with good location in Ghent

  Liked: The staff was very nice and helpful and the hostel is ina a good location.

  Disliked: The beds were not really comfortable and the duvet was quite dirty. Also, in my opinion the price is quite high for a hostel.
