  Great lodging in a monumental building with amazing views over a castle

  Liked: Very charming old house, you have the 2 upper floors for yourself with a private entrance from the street. Right opposite the castle. Great kitchen, 2 toilets, bathroom with bath only. 1 bedroom and small outside terraces at the back side of the building. The living room is very charming and beautiful and offers views over the square and castle. Modern comfort. Single glazed windows but the noise is not disturbing. Bedroom at the quiet back of the building. Very nice owners!

  Disliked: The smell from the waffle shop downstairs at the street level of this building) gets into the house, so you smell a sweet, sugary scent in the apartment but you get used to it. Stairs are quite small so not suitable for elderly people (that is in the lodge i stayed in that consist of two levels). But that is to be expected in a monumental building.

  Liked: Exceptionally kind and thoughtful hosts, a very tidy and functional space, and a perfect location to start a city trip or simply sit by the window and enjoy the atmosphere. Everything one may need is nearby.

  Comfortable, stylish apartment in the best location

  Liked: Centrally located, beautifully decorated. Really comfortable throughout.

  Disliked: Nothing- except it would have been nice to have a couple of coffee pods to get us started.
