  We enjoyed the hotel and Ghent

  Liked: Old, quaint house and furniture, lots of history and interest. The breakfast was excellent.

  Disliked: The bathroom was very old, the shower couldn't be used because there was no enclosure or curtain.

  Nice Hotel in Central Ghent

  Liked: Great location in central Ghent within easy walking distance of the sites. Friendly staff that was able to help me with my questions.

  Disliked: Be aware that your room has a bathtub only.

  Charming hotel in a historic building, in a quiet neighbourhood close to the centre

  Liked: Completely charming hotel in a C16th house; the best sort of old-fashioned, with a big bath and canopied bedhead. Reception staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Breakfast (in the company of a suit of armour!) was plentiful, varied and good quality. I felt very relaxed and cared-for, and wish I'd stayed longer.

  Disliked: The television was on a little table in front of the wardrobe; if every room must have a television, perhaps it could have been mounted to the wall.

  I've never been to Belgium before, and knew very little about Ghent. I would definitely return

  Liked: Great location. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast offered a very nice selection of fruit, grains, cheese, meats, eggs to order.

  Disliked: No elevator. Some mold on the walls in the tub.
