  Not bad, but not worth the price

  Liked: Clean room, great view, very silent for in the center of the city, people who worked there were friendly but they only worked a dayshift, after the hotel was elpty

  Disliked: No lock on the main entrance of the hotel and also no permanent reception. so between 16 and 6 everybody who wanted could enter the hotel. I entered ""late"" at 20.00 and tere were 5 room keys (including mine) just waiting to be picked up at the main entrance in enveloppes. Outdated (but clean) room with mold in bathroom. For this price (200+ for 2 nights) I expected better

  Great location, friendly staff, and good value for a short stay in Ghent

  Liked: It was very close to the tourist center. Everything was within 10 minutes. The room had a nice view.

  Disliked: The walls were very thin and not sound proof. I could hear the people in the room next to me having a normal volume conversation.

  Accomodation only worth it for the location, the friendly staff made it slightly better

  Liked: Breakfast was nice and location was great, very close to the sights we wanted to see. Stuff was very friendly.

  Disliked: First the rooms did not match the pictures on the site, this felt like a scam as the difference is huge. In the pictures they look fresh, colorful, clean, spacious but in reality it's tiny, gloomy, dated, smelly, with creaking floors and paper thin walls. There are mosquitoes even during these cold days. Parking nearby is quite expensive.

  Very basic hotel

  Liked: The location was fine, within walking distance from the city center. Fortunately distant enough from the noise of the 'Gentse feesten' what we didn't go to Gent for.

  Disliked: The room was extremely basic. Not what I expected for the price charged. Not even a bedside lamp for each bed.
