  Visit my dear friend living in Ghent

  Liked: Location - Access friendly to everywhere. I’ve never used public transportation during my stay and am very satisfied. Flexible check-in option - My check-in was expected to be delayed due to flight arrangements, but they were flexible in accommodating this.

  Disliked: Breakfast - They provide breakfast only on weekends with additional fee, although I didn’t order it. Also there’s no breakfast service on weekdays, so guests have to manage it by themselves. No fridge - Related to breakfast, I’d like to suggest that it would be better to install fridges in the guest rooms.

  Very good

  Liked: Simplicity vs convenience, everything that might have been needed was already prepared. Mr Frederik followed up upon confirmation of reservation on our time of arrival, he ensured a smooth check-in with a comprehensive induction about the hotel and its surroundings.

  Disliked: -It would have been nice to add additional power sockets, to the one below the desk, maybe in other locations, compatible with various socket types. -A mosquito repellent device was provided, with one tablet that appeared to be used. -I would suggest adding a bidet sprayer, although not common in the European culture, still a great bathroom accessory. Those who know will attest.

  Great place in a very convenient and quiet location, with very helpful management

  Liked: The management was incredibly flexible about checkin and checkout times, excellent communication. Great breakfast and comfortable common areas, both indoor and outdoor. Room was comfortable and clean with a lovely private patio area. Clearly run by people who understand travelers priorities and needs. Very friendly. Very good location in terms of public transport options or walking to access sites, cafes, good running options, etc.

  Disliked: The room was a little small for everything that was in there, but in general very good for Europe and very comfortable.

  Liked: Good location and very friendly host.

  Disliked: Lights in the room and bathroom are not adequate. Some of them are too bright, others don't give you enough light (bathroom mainly).
