  I loved the hotel and hope to get back

  Liked: I liked the great comfort of the room and the silence there. The shower worked so well, the lighting was easy to figure out, the USB-B and USB-C plugs by each bed were very handy, the bottle of fresh water was a nice touch, the black-out blinds on the windows were perfect for someone who wanted to sleep in, the breakfast was easy to figure out and offered everything I cared about, and the receptionists were lovely. The location couldn’t have been better for discovering Ghent.

  Great hotel worth a stay great place

  Liked: Great location and parking friendly staff good breakfast

  Disliked: The room above was noisy due to heavy footed people on wooden floors. Not the hotels fault it was a good stay but people are so inconsiderate at 3am in the morning and then again at 07:30am the stomping went on for and hour at every point. Go do a walk if you want to get steps in. It was like a heard of elephants.

The area 'Tolhuis' is accessible from the highway (R40) via the access roads Tolhuislaan or Doornzelestraat. When there is no parking space, guests are advised to park their car at the public parking 'Vrijdagmarkt P1'.
