  Good for a solo travel

  Liked: The location was central and close to many attractions, the street was dug up for some tram works. The room in vety tiny even tinier was the bath area:(. Breakfast was basic, we stayed for 3 nights and the same menu repeated!. The front desk was very friendly and helpful.

  Comfy, central stay in a fantastic city

  Liked: The breakfast was the usual tasty mix of hot and cold buffet items that Ibis hotels usually supply, with Belgian waffles and mini pancakes as a local speciality - a nice touch. I like the fact that the hotel had a small evening food service at the bar, too. Perfect for a late arrival when you just want to eat and relax. My room was small, being a single, but was comfortable and everything I expected. The hotel is quite central and great for the shops, as well as attractions like St Bavos and the Het Gravensteen.

  Disliked: The street outside had been dug up for tram improvements. This is obviously just a temporary inconvenience, but you do.have to check more carefully to see which tram stop to use.

Guests can come to the hotel through the ‘Kortrijksepoortstraat’. Guests have 2 options:

1) You can park your car in the hotel parking lot (upon availability).

2) You park your car in the public parking ‘Savaanstraat’ (1st road to the right after the hotel)

It is no longer possible to drive through the main city center by car.
