  Great stay in central Gent

  Great location, but got biten by mosquitoes in our room!

  Liked: The location was excellent, very central. Breakfast was good, with view of the cathedral. Staff were friendly. Room was clean. Managed to get a parking space in the hotel's car park.

  Disliked: Air conditioning did not work so we had to open the window. This let in lots of mosquitoes and we both got badly biten during our stay. I'm afraid we would not stay at this hotel again becasue of this issue! We were glad to be given a car parking space, but it was very tight getting in and out - I'm glad our car wasn't any bigger!

  Liked: The reason I like this hotel is because of the location of this hotel is very close to the market Square where we have to walk around this area it take around 200 m from this hotel to market Square and then you can walk around quite easy quite easy

  Disliked: The main problem of this hotel now is how to get a car to the hotel the reason I said that is because of the road that travel to this hotel is in the process of construction there are not just one spot. It took me tomorrow to understand that we cannot go to the hotel by ourselves so we have to park nearby the slot that is able to park and then send someone to the hotel to let the people who work there show us how to get to the hotel. The person who was there is a very good they service very well. They him to our car and help me by himself to get through the road that allowed only a person to walk but he helped me to get through this process without him I cannot reach the hotel you cannot get out or get the charge from these hotel. The first day that we get to this hotel is by accidental we parked at the parking garage nearby the hotel and then walk straight to the hotel but when we come when we come back to you get our luggage we cannot do that because of the traffic is not allowed us to do so.

  location was fantastic and views from room great, sadly room could only be called functional

  Liked: staff were lovely and very helpful. breakfast was as expected

  Disliked: room was small, cramped and not very well equipped. very basic for the money paid. no kettle etc, towels very thin
