  Central location in beautiful Gent!!!

  Liked: Location, location, location!! You could not beat it! Nice and quiet, no road noise, yet very central. Close to many restaurants and historical sites etc. Owner was pleasant. Apartment was modern, fresh and clean. Ideal for short stays.

  Disliked: The water runs onto the floor from the shower cubicle during showering, however a small towel was provided to mop up. Perhaps a better solution could be found?

  Central and convenient place to stay

  Liked: Excellent location

  Disliked: It was a little irritating to have to give a 300 euro deposit which was returned on the last day, leaving us with a lot of cash we didnt really need at that point in the trip. This was the only down side and I can see from the owners point of view they like people to take great care of the lovely little apartment.

  Absolutely wonderful stay, felt like home

  Liked: The place was cozy, perfectly sized for 1 person and had all the amenities you needed. Additionally the location was ideal, being right in the city centre but with the privacy of being off of a main thoroughfare. As a solo female traveller this was a fabulous place to stay. Lieve was so lovely and welcoming and went above and beyond to provide wonderful hospitality. I would highly recommend!

  Liked: Location is ideal to explore Ghent, right in the hart of the old city, easy and direct transfer from the train station, quiet, clean, very well equipped, the bed is large and very confortable, the bathroom is large and modern, the host is very friendly and helpfull, just perfect

  Clean, modern, and comfortable — A great stay!

  Liked: HIGHLIGHTS: Location: 10/10 Just a one-minute walk and you come out in a scenic square, with the Royal Dutch Theatre straight ahead, St. Bavo's Cathedral to your right, and The Belfry to your left (See pic) — that puts you right in the heart of Ghent’s historic center! From there, it’s a short walk to the beautiful riverfront and all the other iconic sights. The hosts: Lieve and Erik deserve a special shout-out here! Such warm and friendly people. *I injured my knee, and was laid up for a couple of days. Lieve not only stopped by with some Ibuprofen, but even arranged a visit to her doctor! And Erik brought me one of his home-brewed beers, which definitely helped with my recovery. Just lovely people who went above and beyond for us. Truly outstanding hosts. The apartment: Spotlessly clean, stylish, and well-equipped. The induction stove and combi microwave/oven were better than we have at home! The Senseo coffee machine was like having our own coffee bar. There's a great shower, and a very comfortable bed. Convenience: Close to grocery stores, shops, and more cafes and bars than you can count. Everything is within walking distance, and public transport is just minutes away. Value: In addition to everything else, it was exceptional value for money — especially in a city like Ghent. Very highly recommended!
