  Perfect for one night-two nights stay

  Liked: Fine location, 20 mins walk to Cathedral, shops nearby

  Disliked: there is a bathtub, but you cannot stand there, which is not so convenient, but it’s fine in general.

  Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience

  Disliked: Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience. Just ONE DAY before our scheduled check-in, the property representative informed us that they could not accommodate us due to “technical issues in the studio you rented because of the recent extreme weather conditions.” The full amount for the reservation had already been charged on the night we made the booking, yet despite the property cancelling our stay, our money has STILL NOT BEEN REFUNDED. We were left without the accommodation we had booked and paid for at the very last minute. What makes the situation even worse is the extremely poor communication. The property was not active on Booking.com for some time, and our messages are answered only after significant delays. We have been told that the refund will be made by September 28, but why September 28 if booking was made on 17-Aug? Having to wait weeks for a refund after the property itself cancelled the reservation is completely unacceptable. I am now in contact with Booking.com Customer Support and hope they will help resolve this matter and ensure that my money is finally returned. Based on this experience, I absolutely cannot recommend this property. Last-minute cancellation, money withheld for weeks, and extremely poor communication - this is not the level of service anyone should expect after making a confirmed and fully paid reservation. As of now - today 18 September - I see message under this my feedback from apartment: Hello, you have been fully refunded. But I have not been refunded yet. And you don't even reply to my messages ))))

  Functional and clean apartment

  Liked: It was comfortable enough for 2 people. Linen was clean. Bed was comfy. Kitchen was well equipped. We were okay, but not sure this apartment is exactly as described. Needed a little tlc. I cleaned a few areas in the kitchen that needed it. Hopefully better for next guests.

  Disliked: Lift very small, backyard overgrown and unusable. Outdoor furniture broken and rubbish behind building. Blinds couldn’t be opened at front. Shower extremely small. Advertised as wheelchair accessible. It definitely is not. You could not get a wheelchair in the life not into the bathroom or shower. There is also a step inside. Difficult to lock back door. Had to keep key in the lock. Minimal communication with hosts.

  Liked: l’emplacement est idéal! l’hôte est agréable et la procédure d’arrivé ainsi que de départ est simple. le logement était très propre et est conforme à l’annonce.

  Cozy place with a good proximity to RailWay Station in Ghent

  Liked: Great location and also nice view from the balconies. The rooms are spacious and it has everything needed for a short stay in Ghent.

  Disliked: The place was a bit DIY - some people might enjoy it, while others won't so it's a taste preference. No AC.
