  Central, modern stay

  Liked: Super central, clean, modern accommodation.

  Disliked: It’s an old building, even when people try to be quiet you’ll hear them walking on the stairs. It didn’t bother us though.

  Can’t recommend it

  Liked: The location was nice, close to many restaurants and sites.

  Disliked: After sleeping in the bed for one night, we woke up to bug bites along with visibly seeing carpet beetles. We further inspected the bed and noticed that there was a “bed bug trap” under the bed. We informed the hotel and asked for a refund. They let us know they were going to perform an inspection but they have not gotten back to us in almost a month, even though I have followed up multiple times. I cannot recommend staying here based on the fact there could be bed bugs present.

  When we arrived, there was vomit in the toilet and the air-conditioning issue was not resolved to our satisfaction

  Liked: The room was large

  Disliked: The air-conditioning made a noise every 40 seconds. That meant we couldn’t use it at night and we had to choose either air-conditioning or sleeping. When we raise this with the owners they said that’s how it is in Gantt. Additionally, there is a nightclub three doors down that’s open Friday and Saturday night and finishes at 5 am so you can imagine the noise.

  Excellent

  Liked: The location is perfect and next to several excellent restaurants and bars. It was really really hot while I was in town so having air conditioning was life saving. It was clean and very easy to check in/out. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. I didn't use the little kitchen but it was a really nice touch.

  Disliked: The bathroom closet design was a bit strange and I didn't quite expect it. The shower drain was not working so I had to turn the water off every 2 minutes or so because I was worried about it overflowing into the room. The stairs were really challenging with a check in size suitcase by myself and the stair rail didn't feel very sturdy so I was trying to be extra careful not to lean my weight on it.
