Exceptional
It was a lovely area a beautiful cottage. But needs cooling
Liked: The property was clean, the beds comfortable. The location for us was great and close to the SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS track, which is reason for our journey in the first place.
Disliked: OK. Unfortunately we arrived in the middle of a European heat wave, so we knew it was going to be hot. The owner just said make sure you close the place up and it’ll stay cooler…..sorry we come from Australia, we knew that was never going to work in the absence of at least block out blinds, so inside the house was absolutely stiflingly hot. There was no cooling in the place whatsoever and no offer of fans, at the very least. We soon realised we would have to buy a couple of fans to make the interior liveable during our stay. I thinks it’s obvious that the house is set up for stays during the colder months ie plenty of heating, but nothing at all for the summer months.

Liked: This is absolutely an exceptional place. I love every bit of it. The host is just marvellous, French, Dutch, English, German, all languages you wish. Kindness beyond words. I seize the opportunity to express my thanks to the host, Jeanne! You can't imagine it but she's always ready to come with help or to be of assistance, if need be. With genteelness and kindness that have no equal. It's absolutely unique. The cottage spotlessly clean, everything, I mean everything you need, left at your disposal. Modern heating and perfect insulation, both keep the cottage nice, very warm and cosy in winter. Absolutely perfect location, 10 min walk to a huge supermarket and maybe another 5 min to the centre of the town, and, on the other hand, 5 min walk in the opposite direction and you're in the beautiful nature. Extremely comfortable bed, everything designed with an extraordinary taste and enormous attention to details. Alice in Wonderland? I would definitely say so. If you're travelling to Spa or Ardennes, you just can't miss it. This is the place!
Disliked: What I didn't like? Yes, I didn't like that the time of my stay came to an end. I wish to stay there forever.

Liked: We really liked the house and the neighborhood. Very comfortable stay for our family. We visited Formula 1 and the location of the house was just super if you are travelling by car. The food store, city center and the F1 are all so close.
