Great location, clean room, shabby entrance, expensive breakfast
Liked: Perfect and beautiful location in the Parc in the centre of Spa. Very nice, large and clean room, with a standing fan that was sufficient to cool the room during the extremely hot weather. Private secured parking.
Disliked: Entrance of the hotel is via the backdoor of building, via a unkept smelly alleyway and worn out stairs. All of the common spaces were filthy and extremely worn out. Pictures of the front of the building are misleading as they show the restaurant on the ground floor of the building, but is not linked to the hotel rooms. The rooms are managed by the Van de Valk hotel next door. Breakfast can be taken at the Van de Valk and is good albeit very expensive (24,- €/pp). Just 2 € cheaper as for people not staying at the hotel.
Liked: Rooms were very good, clean and modern. Plenty of room. Can't comment on staff because there were no staff. You have to pick up a key at the neighboring large hotel next door. Good location near restaurants. Very very quiet. Almost no noise and I slept with window open.
Disliked: It was very dirty and very misleading.
Not good
Disliked: Our Commentator for British GT's at Spa Francorchamps couldn't sleep because of the loud music and noise from the Hotel Party going next door. on his first night's stay so we were booked in till Sunday and ended up booking our Commentator into Hotel Silva Balmoral for the rest of the weekend.
Liked: Everything was good.
Disliked: No issues.
