Liked: Location, studio and staff

Liked: Very central in town. Car (only) car park opposite (no room for big vans).
Disliked: The unnamed nondescript property was difficult for a stranger to find. Even a local was unsure which property it was when asked. I suggest the owner provides a sketched map. The property itself was 'functional'.
Very dubious payment system - scam/ tax evasion?
Liked: Great location. Quiet and central and it was clean.
Disliked: The owners were unbelievably rude. I had to pay upfront by bank transfer (despite the conditions on booking.com) in order to get the access codes. They said they “didn’t have a card machine”. They cancelled the booking on this platform while we were on our way because we hadn’t “paid by credit card”. They then said this was a mistake but the property was not available at the time advertised on booking.com. When I asked to have access at the time on the site (14:30) they replied “do you want to clean it yourself?” And simply didn’t send us the access codes. None of the facilities including breakfast are actually at the property but some distance away. They don’t provide even the basics like a shower mat or hand soap for the toilet.. so be prepared.

Liked: It's a nice little 2-room apartment (large bedroom/sitting room and spacious kitchen/dining area) with separate bathroom and separate toilet. Really perfectly located in the centre of Spa, opposite City Hall.
