  Overall good for short stay

  Liked: Good location

  Disliked: Very small bathroom, no tea/coffee making facilities. With open window at night, partially noisy due to bypassing people.

  Good location, nice hotel, pleasant stay

  Liked: Well located on the cusp of the old town. Alot of parking close by and though the hotel spaces were occupied the helpful receptionist guided us towards the cheaper alternative. Dog friendly. Very comfortable room/ bed.

  Disliked: Eur 20 charge for bringing dog with us - excessive compared to the 10 other pet friendly locations we stayed in on our trip.

  Great breakfast buffet and close to everything

  Liked: Excellent location. Next to the pedestrian zone so it was close shopping and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful

  Disliked: Standard rooms are a little small but very comfortable.

  Beautiful heidelberg

  Liked: Everything.it's a great hotel in a central location a short walk from all the bars restaurants and old buildings and about a 15 min walk to the castle

  An excellent family-owned (and run) hotel at the western end of the Altstadt

  Liked: We chose this hotel for its location - in the Altstadt and yet close to Heidelberg Hbf for easy access to DB trains. Our choice proved to be excellent! This hotel is a family-run business of a smallish hotel operating to very high standards. The hotel's ambiance - whether in the guest rooms or the reception area (where breakfast is also laid out) - was wonderful. For our first two nights there were only a few guests staying - breakfast was therefore a very pleasant, relaxing and peaceful event. The range of food provided was very good. There were numerous shops and restaurants on the Hauptstrasse lying to the east of the hotel and right up to the Marktplatz and the Kornmarket. Our bed was extremely comfortable. The WiFi worked well. There was a very large electronic security box (securely bolted to the wall). All the staff were helpful - we would particularly like to praise the help and information from Niccolette at reception on our arrival (and thereafter during our stay) - many thanks, Niccolette!!
