  Wonderful receptionist found a room to allow us to check in early after an exhausting night

  Liked: We arrived early because we had flown in overnight from the United States and were very tired. Although the official check-in time was not until around 2:00 or 3:00 pm, the receptionist said she would let us know if a room became available earlier. By 11:00 am she told us that a room was available. We were extremely grateful for that. While we were waiting, we ate breakfast in the restaurant, which was really good and with a beautiful view. They accommodated us even though we weren't checked into the hotel yet and I think it may have been about time for the restaurant to close for breakfast (we were charged for the breakfast, which was fine with us).

  Lovely hotel with idealic views, moden clean room and great breakfast. Would stay again

  Liked: Lovely old hotel with modern rooms. Great location of high elevation for view of surroundings. The breakfast was excellent with vast choice of food and lovely scenic views below. Not in the town therefore quiet. Lovely drive up a twisty road to get to the hotel.

  Disliked: Disapointed that the restaurant was not available on my late arrival due to a private party and was not forwarned of this eventhough I had called ahead to advise of my late arrival. Would not even provide room service as an alternative. Was directed to go into the town to eat.

  Great location, lovely staff, we will return!

  Liked: We booked 2 rooms for 4 adults. One of the rooms had a decent view as we had requested. Stand up fans were placed in the rooms (no ac) to help with the intense August heat. The hotel location is really special with tram access less than 100 meters which will take you down the hill to the old castle ruin or further down to town. The hotel does offer free tram transportation. Breakfast was lovely. Hotel staff, very understanding of our sudden change of plans.

  Disliked: The second room booked had a view of the parking lot and the back of the hotel building. We had to leave a day early (sudden death in family), hotel could have offered us another 2 nights on another stay, but because we booked thru a 3rd party we had to forfeit our 2 room 2nd night stay.

  Thank you for a SPECTACULAR stay!

  Liked: The staff and the hotel far exceeded our expectations! This was a last-minute stay and the front desk met us with enthusiasm, kindness and care. We even asked to change our room to one with a view if available, and staff were so kind to accommodate us… again, without hesitation. We so asked many customary visitor questions, and were appreciative of all information provided!
