  Great for one or two nights

  Liked: The location is great. A minute from the main train station. Lots of places to eat very close by. A 10 minute walk from the amphitheatre entrance to the ruins, a 20-25 minute easy walk to the main entrance. We booked both rooms and they are big and airy with high ceilings. Early October so we didn't use the AC or heating. There is a big jacuzzi in both rooms that we thought would be great after walking for hours round the ruins. You have to run one bath, then the other. If you try to do both it doesn't work very well - you end up with a trickle. Some instructions for how to use hte controls could be helpful as it took us both a long time to work it out and when people are pushing buttons over and over to try to get a result I imagine it's easy to break the controls. But once we got the jacuzzis going, they bubble away! There is a sauna in one of the rooms but we didn't try it. Very good value for money. Very comfortable beds and super clean. Don't be put off by the entrance on the street, it's through an iron grille (you have to call the number on the wall and you are sent the code for the key box to let yourself in) and not very smart but once you're up the stairs it's fine and the rooms are good. Recommended.

  Liked: It was the best choice for us to stay here! the room was clean and modern, sauna and spa are easy to use! for this price, there's nothing to complain. host is very kind and breakfast was also good! we enjoyed our time staying here:)

  Great location, but complicated and stressful for non-Italian speakers

  Liked: The location right next to Pompeii train station was very convenient and surprisingly quiet (all we heard were the infrequent trains). Angelica (remote manager) was friendly and helpful with recommendations.

  Disliked: Remote management was a nightmare. Over 40 WhatsApp messages just to get in, and about as many again dealing with subsequent issues. Breakfast in two different cafes (and not enough vouchers left for us), and payment of the visitor tax in one of them, were all so complicated, especially for non-Italian speakers. Our main reason for choosing this place was the bath, but after an hour of trying to understand the Italian video instructions, we couldn't even turn on the tap and gave up.
