  Charming Stay in the Heart of Lagos

  Liked: We had a wonderful stay. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed. The property itself is charming, with beautiful common areas and a lovely terrace to relax in. The staff were extremely kind throughout our stay, and the small gift at check-out was a very thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Lagos, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Although breakfast is not included, complimentary coffee is available every day, along with biscuits in the shared kitchen, which was a nice additional touch. Overall, everything was excellent and we would gladly stay here again.

  Liked: The rooms and also facilitation in the middle of the old town were very lovely - it made it very easy to reach everything by foot, also a nearby minimarket. The noises from the street very not disturbing thanks to noise-cancelling windows. Clean, big rooms and a well-equipped kitchen with free coffee, as well as a lovely patio to sit outside. The main bus station is about 12 minutes walking distance.

  Clean and centrally located but noisy throughout the night

  Liked: Room was clean and location is centrally located in Old Town. Staff were very friendly. Our rooms were made every day. If you have a car, there are free public parking near the entrance Old Town. The roads inside Old Town are very narrow with many tourists so we parked a few minutes by walk from the guesthouse instead. There are paid parking closer to the guesthouse too.

  Disliked: WiFi was spotty. Our rooms were facing a busy street with a restaurant underneath. The rooms are not noise insulated so we heard noises throughout the night (live music, outdoor dining, rowdy crowds, garbage pickups, etc.). Saturday night was the worst as it was noisy until around 2am. Our itinerary started early in the morning, so we didn’t get much sleep the entire stay. Not so much the host’s fault, but some soundproofing could be helpful. If you enjoy the nightlife, it may be ok. If you’re an early bird, this might not be the best option.

  Liked: Location was good as it is central to all the restaurants and shops.

  Disliked: One of the bed broke during the stay in the night. It could not be repaired as they don't have services in the night to support. As we were leaving next morning, we had to manage our sleep for the night which was not comfortable.

  Wonderful Central Lagos Location

  Liked: Amazing location in the center of old town, yet quiet, comfortable and restful. Welcoming, helpful hosts are responsive, provide information about tours, beaches and restaurants. Room is spacious, clean, and quiet, in spite of location on lively street..Shared kitchen and patio is convenient for morning coffee.10 minute walk from bus station. Excellent value. So glad we stayed here!

  Disliked: Not a problem for us, but the guesthouse is a 3 minute walk from Uber dropoff point
