Fabulous
A great stay at Alfama
Liked: We had a great stay at casa da Maria Alfama. The apartment was cosy, quiet and super clean. Jose was very friendly and helpful. I would happily stay again.
Cute little space in a great location
Liked: Fabulous location and great little apartment (I was in the ground floor studio without a balcony but that didn’t matter at all). Perfect for one person.
Disliked: The bathroom had nowhere to keep toiletry bag and the kitchen coffee machine was provided but only with 2 pods for a four night stay which meant it wasn’t used and just took up vital kitchen space. None of this mattered though as I was on my own and was able to use the breakfast table for my toiletries and move the coffee machine. It was a great little place and highly recommended.

Liked: The location was so close to so many attractions including the central shopping area.
Great location and views! I loved the balcony!
Liked: Great location, the balcony with great views, comfortable bed, great A/C and well equipped.
Disliked: Bathroom had no ventilation and a bit tight, but not an issue for me. Just something to consider if you need a big bathroom space.
Very good location, very walkable to Old Town and the ferry docks
Liked: The room was small but really nice. Nice view of the cruise ships and the location was good just have to walk a lot of steps to get to it but that was fun walking through the narrow little streets.
Disliked: Having to walk down several set of steps with the luggage to get to the room but once there it was fine. When leaving we walked down instead of going back up to catch a taxi.
Great little apartment in a fantastic location
Liked: The location was amazing, and Jose was brilliant with the instructions on where we could park and getting into the accommodation. The air conditioning worked really well which was a good job due to the heat wave!
Disliked: No negatives
