    Good location

Liked: The location is great, very safe neighbourhood, close to the shopping street. Also, about 20-25 mins walk into the main square. The staff were lovely.

Disliked: The room was alright. The floor was a bit poorly maintained with a few planks sticking out but good if you want something basic.

Liked: I chose this hostel because of the 24 hour check in desk. Soren checked me in at 1am and was amazing, really appreciated his friendliness. The other staff also helped me with some great recommendations - especially for my trip to Cascais (which I would really recommend!). Free continental breakfast, coffee and tea throughout the day too. Fridge, microwave and air fryer but no stove. They have a designated smoking area so you don't have to leave the hostel to smoke. Dorms are on the 5th floor, each floor has its own WiFi and they have a small elevator too. The area feels incredibly safe, a short walk to Pingo Dolce (large supermarket) and public transport nearby. Also a great Italian restaurant next door.

Liked: The location was good because its walking distance to the metro station and the price for 1 night was a good value for money.

Disliked: The room that was given to us for an overnight stay at the second floor needs refurbishing. The walls were not sound proof as in you can hear the tap running on the adjacent room or you hear someone is snoring right in the middle of the night. The lift was also small if you have too many bags with you.

A Hostel with good location and a lot of potential for improvement

Liked: 24hr check-in was a must for us so we chose this hostel. Location is great and staff friendly. The rooms are good sized. Wifi worked well.

Disliked: The furniture is very worn out. We got a very simple breakfast but nice location in the courtyard. The beds creaked so much at every turn that it woke us up. The glass door to bathroom is fairly uncomfortable. There was a 5cm space under the room door so we had to block it with towels to make it dark enough in the room to sleep. The whole building is very poorly sound-isolated so earplugs are a must for sensitive sleepers
