Fabulous
Great apartment, but frustrating deposit refund
Liked: The apartment was very clean and in a great location in Parque das Nações, close to the train station and a shopping mall. Communication with the host was generally timely and polite, and the apartment itself was comfortable.
Disliked: When we arrived at around 22:00-22:30, the automatic entry system was not working, so we had to retrieve a spare key from a secret location. It took around 30 minutes to get into the apartment, which was inconvenient after a late arrival. The host was responding very quickly so it helped us to move relatively fast in the problem resolution. The €200 security deposit was supposed to be returned within seven days of checkout, but the refund took about month and a half and required repeated follow-ups. Despite receiving several assurances and specific promises about when the money would be transferred, the deadline kept being pushed back. The deposit was eventually returned only after I said I would report the matter to Booking.com and leave a review. The apartment was clean, the location was excellent, and communication was polite. However, the prolonged delay in returning the deposit felt disrespectful and definitely left a bitter taste. I cannot know the host’s intentions, but the repeated delays gave the impression that honouring the agreed terms was not being treated as a priority.
Great location, but cleanliness and safety concerns
Liked: The apartment is in a great location in Parque das Nações, close to the train station and a shopping mall, making it very convenient for transport and nearby amenities. During our subsequent stay, the apartment was exceptionally clean, which was a noticeable improvement.
Disliked: During our first stay, the apartment was not quite ready when we arrived at 15:00, as the cleaning staff were still working and the baby cot had not yet been prepared. These were minor issues for us, but we were concerned when our toddler found two pieces of chewing gum covered in hair and put them in their mouth. We also discovered a significant amount of mould underneath the bath mat in the bathtub. I also received a small electric shock while using the bathroom electrical outlet, although I cannot say for certain what caused it. These cleanliness and potential safety concerns were particularly worrying while travelling with a young child.
Excellent stay in Lisbon, near Expo!
Liked: The location is fenomenal, just next to Expo and the airport (for international travellers). The apartment has all necessary amenities, even for families with babies (crib and high chair). The fact that it has an indoor garage is also a big plus for travellers with cars. You also have very good restaurants nearby for all tastes. And the subway is a step away to explore Lisbon!

Liked: The apartment was very central and the location is very good for kids. The host / contact provided was very responsive even at late times
Disliked: definitly the cleaning could improve, specially considering the price which is on the very high end for Portuguese standards The boiler needs fixing or replacement. It was very difficult to have warm water for the kids to have a shower. In the last day, one of us had a cold shower as the boiler would not turn on. Even after 20 min waiting for the warm water, eventually the shower was taken cold Overall confort of the sofa bed is also not ideal. It’s an ikea sofa bed For the price paid ( and also considering booking rate ) I would not expect all the above inconveniences and lack of cleaning If you want guaranteed comfort, better to go to the hotel next door
Family day in Lisbon
Liked: Very confortable apartment with a perfect location near Oriente train/Subway Station and parque das nações. Everything was in good state, easy instructions to check in and very friendly comunications with the host.
