Good
Great location and cleaning but small shower
Liked: The location was good, the bed and the bathroom were cozy and clean.
Disliked: The dimension of the shower, a normal person could barely fit and move their arms to shower.
The Worst Night I Have Ever Had! Absolutely Not Recommended
Disliked: This was honestly one of the worst nights I have ever experienced in accommodation. From the moment we arrived, things were already disappointing, as the air conditioning was not working properly. However, the real nightmare began in the evening. We noticed that earplugs had been provided in the room. At first, we thought this was a thoughtful little detail, but we quickly understood why they were there. From around 6 PM until 4–5 AM, there was an unbearable amount of noise coming from the apartment above us. It sounded as though people were constantly moving furniture, renovating, and playing music. The noise was so intense that even wearing earplugs did not help. We genuinely considered calling the police because the situation was completely unacceptable. On top of that, the accommodation is extremely poorly soundproofed. You can hear the metro or train running underneath the building, and the vibrations are clearly noticeable. The walls seem paper-thin, making it almost impossible to get a peaceful night’s sleep. The bathroom is also disappointing, with a very small shower and extremely thin towels that hardly feel adequate. Another important point is that the accommodation is located on the fourth floor with no lift. The stairs are incredibly steep, which could be a serious inconvenience, especially for guests with heavy luggage or reduced mobility. This is not something we noticed being clearly highlighted beforehand. Finding the property is also unnecessarily difficult, as the entrance is simply an iron door with no clear signage to indicate that you have arrived at the correct place. The only genuinely positive aspect of this accommodation is its location. Everything else was a major disappointment. We paid for a night’s accommodation expecting, at the very least, to be able to sleep. Instead, we spent the entire night listening to noise and barely got any rest at all.
Good accommodation with both positive and negative aspects
Liked: We liked the size of the kitchen, the full fridge and freezer and that there was a dining table that we could eat at. Loved having the washing machine which was one of the reasons we booked this apartment (although it had a smokey sort of smell and left the clothes with this smell - almost like someone had washed accidentally cigarette butts in there or similar). We liked that it was 2 bedrooms and the children had their own bed (many places we stayed at throughout Europe had 1 bedroom with a sofa bed). Communication with the host was fantastic for check in and also giving us ideas for dining also. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. The design and decor was also lovely and having a lounge to relax and watch tv (when it was not wet) was a bonus. Felt secure in building although front door to building did not lock but door to apartment felt secure and safe.
Disliked: Although very grateful to have 2 bedrooms, space for luggage for 4 people was an issue. We had to spread our bags out in the living area. The sofa was cleaned/washed before we arrived which the host advised us of, however it was still wet for 2 days and we could not sit on it. The rug was also wet so it made our feet and socks wet. We appreciate the fact that it was cleaned but maybe not before we arrived unless it was also for some pressing matter which is a little concerning. The shower was interesting with rocks/stones as the drainage on the floor and the toilet and basin were tiny. We very much appreciate the beauty and history of an 18th century building but it did make it difficult with 4 suitcases and hand luggage with 2 kids as we were on a 2 month holiday so had quite a bit of luggage. Nothing that can be done about this but worth the mention in case of mobility issues. It didn't ruin the stay although made it a challenge. The toilet was blocked, thankfully on our last night and we were checking out the following day. The host asked us not to use it, however, this is completely impossible with 4 people and no other toilets to have access to. The towels were also very small, but also understandable why as there is no fixed towel rack but rather a small mobile rack to hang the small towels on. Extra towels would also come in handy. Also heard neighbours at early hours of the morning make quite a bit of noise.

Disliked: One of the worst accommodation experiences we have ever had. The cleanliness was appalling: torn and frayed towels, a duvet with holes in it, and sheets with dried bloodstains. On the first day, we told the host that our code to access the room was not working and that anyone could enter because there was no way to lock it properly. We stayed for three days, and they never fixed the issue. On top of that, one day when it was pouring with rain, we had to wait outside for 40 minutes for someone to come and let us into the building because the entrance code was not working. Absolutely horrible experience.
