Good (though small) apartment with noisy neighbours

Liked: The property itself was perfectly fine. Everything was clean, in order and as you’d expect it to be on arrival.

Disliked: The walls/ceilings/floors are incredibly thin, which means you can hear every footstep, every cough etc. I was woken up several times through the night by the upstairs neighbour clearing his throat and coughing, like he was going to be sick. I assume he’s not very well, so it’s not his fault per se, but regardless it didn’t make for the most comfortable of stays.

Liked: The host was very friendly and gave us a lot of very helpful tips, such as where the good restaurants and shops are. He was responding to our queries right away. The flat was very clean, spacious, and comfortable.

Disliked: Unfortunately, the neighbours were noisy at very late hours, however we realise that is not the fault of the host.

  Very comfortable

Liked: The place is very comfortable and in a quite good location, close to transport hubs. Owners are very nice and clear in communication. The apartment has everything needed for a short or longer stay.

Disliked: It was unclear how to open some windows (kitchen and bedroom) or if they were not supposed to be opened. Maybe some Portuguese technology is hard to crack:)
