Very good
Easy public transport access
Liked: Location was good - very close to public transport. Metro to airport took around 20minutes and to the main tourist locations in around 10/15 minutes. Also situated in a quieter neighbourhood, so sleep was undisturbed! I booked a double room with private bathroom - room and bathroom were clean and tastefully decorated, and the bed was very comfortable
Overall good stay
Liked: The room itself is basic but overall comfortable and good value for a short stay. I especially appreciate the lady who greeted me upon arrival. she was so warm and friendly and made me felt comfortable right away. The hostel is located slightly away from the tourists filled areas which I appreciate, as it felt more like a normal area where Regular Portuguese people live their lives. There are many good restaurants near by as well as grocery stores. The metro station is literally right across the street from the hostel which made going into city center very convenient.
Disliked: The bed was too soft for me, and the street noise was loud.
Relaxing hostel, with a great terrace
Liked: The hostel is very comfortable, with an excellent kitchen, common room, and terrace. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. The location is good, with many affordable restaurants within a short walk. It's also very close to a metro station.
Disliked: No AC, just fans and it gets HOT
Location was amazing, had higher hopes for the bed
Liked: Location was great! Kitchen has good equipment and silent hour starts at 22:00
Disliked: Only two bathrooms for all rooms together. The bathroom had both the shower and toilet inside so you had to queue during popular hours. Bed was not too sturdy as it was not the wooden one in the picture but a metal more like childrens bed and locker a bit small
Liked: Authentic atmosphere of a tenement block with old wooden doors and floors. Situated further from the city centre.
