A spacious, well-located apartment with beautiful views, thoughtful hosts, and convenient amenities made for a wonderful

Liked: If I could give more than five stars, I would! This spacious apartment, its wonderful location, and the kindness of everyone who helped us made our stay exceptional. From our arrival at the airport through reaching the apartment, the instructions were excellent. We knew exactly where to go, what to look for, and whom to meet. Everyone was patient and kind, making sure we arrived safely and felt welcome. The two-level apartment offers plenty of room, amazing views, and a well-equipped kitchen with a spacious refrigerator. Having a washer/dryer combination was a real convenience. There are two bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom, plus generous closet space and plenty of hangers. We also appreciated the uncluttered rooms, which left space to unpack and settle in. Being next door to a large, three-level shopping center was perfect. The supermarket on the lower level has an excellent bakery and prepared-food section—a wonderful way to sample local cuisine at reasonable prices. We quickly discovered how much the Portuguese love eggs, from sandwiches and steaks to delicious sweets! One layered pastry we thought contained mango cream turned out to be filled with egg yolks and sugar. And those little Portuguese custard tarts? Absolutely addictive! Oriente station is about a six-minute walk away, making it very convenient for independent day trips, especially to Fátima. We also enjoyed several tours that gave us an overview of places we wanted to return to and explore more thoroughly. When booking bus trips online, double-check that your departure is from Oriente. A few practical things to know before arriving: • The beds are very low. The main bedroom’s bed frame extends approximately 10–12 inches beyond the mattress and has sharp corners. We bumped our shins several times, occasionally breaking the skin, despite reminding ourselves to be careful. These corners are especially easy to forget during the night.

Apartment 2103 was a luxurious treat for the final five days of our Portugal trip, with outstanding views and beautiful

Liked: If I could give apartment 2103 more than five stars, I would! We spent the last five days of our Portugal trip here, and it was a wonderful way to finish our vacation. We had already enjoyed apartment 1701, but 2103 offered even more space and a truly luxurious feel. The views were outstanding! The soaring windows brought in beautiful natural light and sweeping views of the water. Simply sitting in the living room and taking it all in was a pleasure. The apartment had all the conveniences that made our first stay so comfortable: a well-equipped kitchen, spacious refrigerator, washer/dryer combination, two bedrooms with their own full bathrooms, and generous closet space with plenty of hangers. There was room to unpack, spread out, and feel at home. The location was just as wonderful. Having the shopping center next door, with its large supermarket, excellent bakery, and prepared foods, made everyday errands easy—and delicious! Oriente station was only a short walk away, making it convenient to explore Lisbon and arrange day trips. Apartment 2103 combined space, comfort, convenience, and spectacular views. Our only regret was that we had just five days to enjoy it! We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to stay in Lisbon.

Disliked: The kitchen looked like it had some rough renters recently because of a few cabinet fixes needed. In the master bathroom there was just one small hook on the back of the door. Would have been nice to have more hooks.
