Liked: Write a short sentence to sum up your stay. - We had a wonderful experience at Upon Angels! The hotel was amazing, beautifully maintained, and very welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, with every meal being a real treat. A special mention to Catarina and Nelson, who were both fantastic! They were so friendly, attentive, and professional, making our stay even more enjoyable. Their excellent service truly made a difference. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Upon Angels. We would love to come back! ❤️

Would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone and Lisbon as whole was very disappointing
Liked: The staff where amazing especially Catarina and Nelson who where excellent in providing information and guidance.
Disliked: Our room was not in a very desirable area of the city lots of people hanging about raking bins etc as two females this made us feel very vulnerable as we had a 15 min walk to the centre of town which involved walking passed some very undesirable people and places. The room was clean,but very dark no natural light and the pool very disappointing to say the least.
Dissatisfied and dissapointed
Liked: Nice decor, friendly receptionist with good recommendations for where to go
Disliked: Really dilapidated area with a lot of homeless and drug users. Smelt of urine by the entrance. Room was spacious and nicely decorated but plug sockets and fittings hanging off walls. Needed some TLC. Pool area was sad. We flagged to staff but they did nothing to rectify. Cancelled breakfast after first day. Waitress was rude.

Disliked: When we arrived we had no hot water, the next day they changed our room. They told us that breakfast requires a reservation and is only available at 10 or 11 because there is no room in the dining room before that. We ate outside. The next day when we arrived for breakfast the coffee machine was broken and there was not enough food for all the guests who were present at that time. And we no longer ate breakfast at the hotel, we asked for a refund. The location of the hotel is not pleasant, a small street and there are homeless people around and it is not pleasant to return in the evening. I would like to point out that the receptionists were great and only tried to help with all the hotel's problems.

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, spotless, and so well maintained. Every detail made the stay feel special, and the atmosphere was amazing.
Liked: A beautifully designed hotel with a stunning style. The rooms are very spacious, exceptionally well-equipped, and offer a high level of comfort. You can truly feel at home here!
Disliked: Although the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, the staff and service were extremely disappointing. The morning staff, in particular, were unfriendly and seemed as though they were working against their will. Although breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m., we had to wait quite a long time for scrambled eggs, vegetables were missing, and the staff were far from welcoming. The gentleman working the evening shift at reception seemed more interested in his computer than in assisting guests. On our first day, he did not even take the time to properly check us in and simply handed us our key cards. Housekeeping also fell short of expectations, as the water and coffee in our room were not replenished during cleaning. It is a beautiful hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms, but unfortunately, the poor service and unfriendly staff significantly affected our overall experience. Such a wonderful property deserves a much better team.
