Very good
Liked: Very nice touch to find the flat with air conditioning on, and no bad surprise on the equipment.
Disliked: Works during the day, Brazilian music during the night, it was very noisy + I still don't have the receipt I asked for
Does the job for a short cheap break:)
Liked: Good location, fans and air conditioning, good price even for two people but would be even cheaper if it was all four. Felt secure, 2 doors with different locks. Host was in contact about instructions to enter apartment etc before hand and for check in info over what’s app, which was piece of mind we had easy contact if needs be.
Disliked: Apartment is small and quite dated at points mainly bathroom, main double room was small especially with suitcases. Does the job for price but would be tight for four people. Very steep stairs in halls of apartment which was fine for us as have no mobility issues but could be a problem for others. Also had an issue getting doors open at first as quite old need to pull in while unlocking. Which we did work out and wasn’t an issue but would have been nice to have a bit more instruction. Good location, walkable however, whole street was completely dug up and work being done with diggers etc. which we were not made aware of and could be quite loud at times. Obviously out of the owners control but would be nice to know but would hope this would only be for maybe the next few weeks. Reviews said about loud noise from bars below but wasn’t too bad in my opinion especially with ear plugs.
Liked: Geographically the location is great. But be aware that you're just above a loud reggae bar, playing beats till 2am. There was a decent AC unit, so temperature was controllable.
Disliked: The layout of the apartment is very tight, and the finishing is low quality. Doors are crooked, hinges are broken, electrics are bordering unsafe. The bathroom is in a sad state. I can see the apartment fulfilling the needs of a small partying group, but it is not suitable for a family.
Good value for money on central location
Liked: Location on walking distance from different districts of the city and directly in a neighborhood of bars and restaurants
Disliked: It is a bit small if you are with 4 persons but that was fine for us, we were in the city most of the time. The noise from the bar below didn’t bother us at all
Great location 6 for young/active travellers
Liked: Location location location. Great central place for active nightlife and exploring the area.
Disliked: As a young family we haven't yet adapted our travel plans to having to bring a stroller etc. The stairs were very steep and directly off the street, which was at the time undergoing construction work, so entering and exiting was difficult with luggage and a baby. Being directly above two very lively bars was also difficult for us because of the FOMO - in pee baby days we'd have been thrilled.
It was ok for the cost
Liked: The location was good but because it was above 2 pubs it was very noisy every night.
Disliked: The washroom was very tight.
