Wonderful one night stayin Setúbal
Liked: Cute room on top floor, nice bathroom.

Disliked: We booked Guesthouse 34 largely because of the previous reviews, which consistently praised the excellent staff and breakfast. Unfortunately, our experience was quite different. We had no personal contact with the staff at all, apart from communication via messages. We were also informed that breakfast had been cancelled because they were “having problems with the person responsible for breakfast,” which was disappointing considering that breakfast was one of the main reasons we chose this accommodation. We were told that we could at least have coffee downstairs, as there was a coffee machine available. However, when we tried to use it, there was no coffee in the machine. Overall, it gave us the impression that no one was really taking care of the property or checking that things were properly set up for guests. On top of that, the bed was quite unstable and very squeaky, which made it uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the stay did not live up to the expectations created by the previous reviews.

Liked: I absolutely adored every aspect of this property. It felt like I was staying in someone’s stunning artist home. The designer had meticulously crafted every room and hallway, including the bathrooms. The ambiance was cozy, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. They even went the extra mile by giving us a thoughtful gift for our little dog.
Amazing stay in the heart of Setubal!
Liked: The guesthouse is beautifully designed with unique furnishings, lovely art, and a fabulous kitchen and back garden for outdoor seating. Our host Christina was very accommodating for our needs and provided us with helpful information. The WiFi was also spot on!
